About TempMail.name

TempMail.name is an independent temporary-email service. It exists because signing up for something you want to try shouldn’t require handing over a personal inbox you’ll be spam-filtering for years.

Why it exists

Disposable email addresses reduce spam, protect your real inbox, and give developers a fast way to test verification flows. We built TempMail.name to do that well: fast inbox creation, honest privacy explanations, and an interface that works as well on a phone as a desktop.

Privacy philosophy

An inbox address is the only credential needed to read it — a long, random string nobody can guess. We delete inboxes and their messages permanently when they expire or when you delete them. We do not sell message content or use it for anything other than showing it to you. See our Privacy Policy for specifics.

Security principles

Inbound email is sanitized before it’s ever stored or rendered, session and API secrets are hashed, and admin access requires authentication. We don’t claim certifications we don’t hold.
